Classes, Workshops & Performances

Tribal Joy!
It's a dance workshop!..
A drum workshop!.
With yoga!..
And a dance party!
Sept 1 - 3, 2006
Still Meadow Retreat Center
35 minutes SE of Portland, OR

Yes, we are doing it again!… combining our love of dance, music, yoga, nature and great food into an incredible weekend.

There are 17 classes to chose from including African and Tribal Belly dance. For those not dancing there's African and Middle Eastern drum classes as well as yoga, long walks through the meadows and woods and a sauna and massage.

And don't forget the shopping! Our souke will feature seven vendors with clothes and accessories from around the world.

After all those classes, eat with impunity sampling Still Meadow’s excellent cuisine. Then shake it at Saturday night’s dance party. Sunday we finish with restorative yoga, more dance and a sumptuous brunch. (Complete schedule below.)

Instructors: Lynea Gillen, Cammi Vance (Darshan), Nicole Daddonna (Gypsy Caravan) & Charlotte McFarlane will teach African Tribal Fusion, Belly Dance Fusion, Tribal Belly and Cabaret Dance forms Jim Gillen leads yoga and World Rhythm Circle. Brad Moore teaches Dumbek drumming. Other guest teachers to be announced.

About Still Meadow/Directions: Just 35 minutes Southeast of Portland, near Clackamas, Still Meadow (Still Meadow Directions) is a picturesque retreat center surrounded by 60-acres of gardens, forested trails and rivers.
